We are currently accepting enrollment applications for the 2009-2010 school year. Information packets are available from the school office, or may be downloaded online. Tuition discounts will be available, based on need. NEW FAMILIES (who did not have a student in 1st through 8th grade this year) are automatically eligible for a 25% discount. Graduation and Award Ceremony was a blessing!
Friends and family of Heartland students celebrated the successful end of the 2008-2009 school year and the graduation of their 8th grade friends at the Award Ceremony held at First Baptist Church, Bemidji at 7:00 PM Thursday evening, May 28. Alll students from 1st Grade through Eighth received individualized, special honors prayerfully determined by their teachers. Special music by Heartland students under the direction of Sonja Connell was featured.
Join Us for the End of the School Year Picnic
Wednesday, May 27th is the date for our last day of school picnic. Come prepared to have a good time eating, playing and visiting with friends and family. Guests are welcome. Since we will be having our traditional water gun event, please bring the water delivery tool of your choice (NO pressure washers!) and a change of dry clothes. The Bemidji fire department will be on hand to challenge students with their truck. Students willbe allowed to "take their best shot" first! Students are asked to help with the picnic. Here is the list of foods students are asked to bring, by grade.
Well Done! Music and Art Festival a Blessing
Students did an excellent job with vocal and instrumental music after having worked for months to put together this unique and exciting program. Each grade offered something VERY SPECIAL to present, demonstrating variety, energy, and talent. There was also a fine art gallery display of student work. Audience comments showed a real appreciation for the efforts of Mrs. Connell, our music teacher.
Blessings at Christian Connection
Despite snow chunks falling from the sky, Heartland’s annual Christian Connection concert at the Evangelical Covenant Church in Bemidji saw high attendance, excellent music, and a very good offering for the school’s ministry. With Phil Elke of YourQ FM as the evening’s master of ceremonies, hearts were touched and the Lord was praised with the talents offered by local artists.

There are over $1200.00 worth of local business coupons available in this beautifully done publication, as well as information about Heartland as well as our partner in this fundraising enterprise, Oak Hills Christian College. The books cost $20, and we retain 50% of that amount.
